1. Scary Haunted Tree now available as Gift-with-Purchase
The set 40900 Scary Haunted Tree (218 pieces) is now being offered as a free gift with purchase on LEGO.com when you spend approximately £90 / $100 / €100. Additionally, a paper bag (Minecraft, NINJAGO, Marvel or City) is available with a lower spending threshold.
2. LEGO Ideas: 92 projects qualify for review
The second LEGO Ideas review period of 2026 has ended. A total of 92 fan projects reached the required 10,000 supporters and are now under official review. Results from the first 2026 review period are expected in October.
3. Winter Village 2026: Holiday House revealed
The new Winter Village set 11387 Holiday House (1,354 pieces, 18+) has been officially unveiled. Inspired by the classic song “Jingle Bells”, it will be available from 1 October (Insiders Early Access) and is priced around £100 / $120 / €110.
4. Massive “Retiring Soon” wave
LEGO has significantly expanded its “Retiring Soon” list. In some markets, more than 300 sets are now confirmed to leave shelves, including major models such as the Millennium Falcon, X-Men Mansion, and several Icons and Star Wars sets.
5. Review & mods: Wallace & Gromit (21371)
The new LEGO Ideas set 21371 Wallace & Gromit (the 80th Ideas release) is currently receiving detailed reviews and modifications. Sites like New Elementary are publishing in-depth analyses and MOC ideas.
6. Pick a Brick: major clearout
More than 1,800 elements are being permanently removed from the Pick a Brick catalogue. Following the June clearout, this is the next large purge – last chance to get these parts.

The August set 77263 BMW M3 (E30), celebrating the model’s 40th anniversary, has been thoroughly tested. New parts and interesting MOC possibilities are highlighted in current reviews.
8. First real Super Mario minifigures
The new Super Mario sets (including Yoshi at Mario’s House and Mario Kart – Bowser’s Rumbling Race) are now available for pre-order. For the first time, the Super Mario theme features proper minifigures.
9. Community events and new Ideas projects
